Dear friends all around Europe,

The EMS Council is an important platform for medical students to discuss their opinions, exchange their ideas and also to broaden their horizons in matters of education and policy. Being a representative body of the rights and interest of medical students europeanwide, it shall assist the cooperation and communication of medical students associations and the medical students themselves. „The city of Vienna is paved with culture, those of other cities with asphalt.“ (Karl Kraus, Austrian writer). The EMS Council 7 will take place from 21st until 25th of April 2010 in Vienna as it is an atmospheric venue and a creative environment where knowledge transfer about the theme „European Health“ could take place. We are expecting lively discussions around topics concerning "Healthcare in Europe: Education, Cooperation, Prevention and Equity”.
